摘要： A renewed adoption of relational perspectives by archaeologists working in eastern North America has created an opportunity to move beyond categorical approaches, those reliant on the top-down implementation of essentialist models or "types." Instead, emerging approaches, concerned with highlighting the agential power of relationships between individuals, communities, and institutions, and, more generally, with simply moving beyond categories, are allowing archaeologists to move from the bottom-up, focusing instead on the relationships that underlie, and indeed constitute, social, political, and economic phenomena. In this paper, I synthesize recent archaeological work from across eastern North America in which archaeologists have productively moved beyond a reliance on categorical perspectives. I explicitly focus on the potential for relational perspectives to recalibrate our social and temporal referents in crafting archaeological narratives.

摘要： Objective Investigate imaging follow-up patterns and assessment of malignancy rate of BI-RADS 3 lesions in women younger than 30 years. Methods We retrospectively reviewed consecutive studies between January 1, 2013 and January 1, 2015 with BI-RADS 3 assessment in women <30 years. Lesion size, follow-up rate, and biopsy rate were recorded. Completion of 24-month imaging follow-up or biopsy determined the endpoint. Statistical analysis of follow-up rates and biopsy timing was performed. Results Of 2525 BI-RADS 3 lesions, 278 were identified in 215 women <30 years. Fifty-two (24%) women underwent a biopsy which was more frequently done at patient request than for lesion growth [33 (63.4%) versus 19 (36.5%), P 2 cm in diameter (OR: 4.4 [95% CI 2.1-9.4], P <.01). The malignancy rate in our cohort was 0% (95% CI 0-1.7%). Of the 188 women expected for follow-up imaging, 58 (30%) were lost to follow-up, while 103 (55%) had 6-month follow-up, 74 (39%) 12-month follow-up, and 56 (30%) 24-month follow-up. Conclusions BI-RADS 3 lesions identified in our cohort had high biopsy rates and low compliance with no cancers. Our findings suggest that probable fibroadenomas in young women may only warrant abbreviated short-term follow-up at 6-months.

摘要： Let H-1 and H-2 be Hopf algebras which are not necessarily finite dimensional and alpha, beta is an element of Aut(Hopf) (H-1), gamma, delta is an element of Aut(Hopf) (H-2). In this paper, we introduce a category H-1 LRH2(alpha, beta, gamma, delta), generalizing Yetter-Drinfeld-Long bimodules and construct a braided T -category LR( H-1, H-2) containing all the categories H-1 LRH2( alpha, beta, gamma, delta) as components. We also prove that if (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) admits a quadruple in involution, then (H1) LRH2(alpha, beta, gamma, delta) is isomorphic to the usual category (H1) LRH2 of Yetter-Drinfeld-Long bimodules.

摘要： We exhibit the cartesian differential categories of Blute, Cockett and Seely as a particular kind of enriched category. The base for the enrichment is the category of commutative monoids-or in a straightforward generalisation, the category of modules over a commutative rig k. However, the tensor product on this category is not the usual one, but rather a warping of it by a certain monoidal comonad Q. Thus the enrichment base is not a monoidal category in the usual sense, but rather a skew monoidal category in the sense of Szlachanyi. Our first main result is that cartesian differential categories are the same as categories with finite products enriched over this skew monoidal base. The comonad Q involved is, in fact, an example of a differential modality. Differential modalities are a kind of comonad on a symmetric monoidal k-linear category with the characteristic feature that their co-Kleisli categories are cartesian differential categories. Using our first main result, we are able to prove our second one: that every small cartesian differential category admits a full, structure-preserving embedding into the cartesian differential category induced by a differential modality (in fact, a monoidal differential modality on a monoidal closed category-thus, a model of intuitionistic differential linear logic). This resolves an important open question in this area.

摘要： In metastatic colorectal cancer, there are few data on associations between early tumor shrinkage (ETS), depth of response (DpR), and patient characteristics. We assessed ETS and DpR by baseline Kohne category and tumor load. High-risk patients or those with BRAF mutations have lower chances of achieving an ETS of 30% or greater or a high DpR. An ETS of 30% or greater and a high DpR were associated with prolonged survival. Baseline tumor load was not linked with achieving an ETS of 30% or greater or a high DpR. Background: In metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), there are limited data on associations between early tumor shrinkage (ETS), depth of response (DpR), and patient characteristics. Methods: Data from patients with RAS wildtype mCRC who had participated in the PRIME (NCT00364013) and PEAK (NCT00819780) studies were analyzed retrospectively. ETS and DpR were assessed by baseline Kohne category/BRAF status (PRIME) and baseline tumor load (pooled PRIME and PEAK). Results: Analysis populations included 436 to 665 patients. Patients' chances of achieving ETS of 30% or greater were 63.8%, 50.4%, and 41.9% in the low-, medium-, and high-risk Kohne categories, and 21.7% in those with BRAF mutations. Corresponding percentages for the highest DpR classification (71%-100%) were 47.7% (low risk), 23.6% (medium risk), 10.0% (high risk), and 4.2% (BRAF mutant). No clear relationship was observed between baseline tumor load and ETS or DpR. An ETS of 30% or greater and higher DpR values were associated with statistically significant prolongation of median progression-free survival and overall survival. Conclusion: Patients with mCRC categorized at baseline by the Kohne criteria as high risk or with BRAF mutations have lower chances of achieving an ETS of 30% or greater or a high DpR. Baseline tumor load was not predictive of ETS or DpR. Favorable ETS or DpR is associated with improved progression-free and overall survival. (C) 2021 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Inc.

摘要： This study examines the impact of value-added tax (VAT)-free promotions on sales performance. VAT-free promotions are a recently adopted form of price promotions where consumers are exempted from paying the VAT amount across almost all products in the assortment during a limited number of days. They are typically organized once per year and surrounded by a large amount of media attention from the involved retailer. To test the effects of this promotion on store and category sales, and investigate the differences between loyalty program (LP) members and non-LP members, the authors use scanner data from a Dutch durable goods retailer across a range of categories. The results show that VAT-free promotions positively impact store performance. Moreover, the findings indicate that more non-LP members are attracted to the store and that they increase the amount they spend in the store. While LP members also spend more in the store, this increase in shopping basket size does not compensate for the significant drop in the number of LP members that visit the store, leading to an overall decrease in sales coming from LP members during VAT-free days. We furthermore find that the positive effect of VAT-free promotions for non-LP members (rather than LP members) generalizes across all investigated categories. Our results provide key insights for retailers and direct marketers with regard to the effectiveness of VAT-free promotions in order to strategically segment the customer base.

摘要： Zero-inflated ordered probit (ZIOP) and middle-inflated ordered probit (MIOP) models are finding increasing favour in the discrete choice literature. We propose generalizations to these models - which collapse to their ZIOP/MIOP counterparts under a set of simple parameter restrictions - with respect to the inflation process. These generalizations form the basis of a new specification test of the inflation process in ZIOP and MIOP models. Support for our generalization framework is principally demonstrated by revisiting a key ZIOP application from the economics literature, and reinforced by the reassessment of an important MIOP application from political science. Our specification test supports the generalized models over the original ZIOP/MIOP ones, suggesting an important role for it in modelling zero- and middle-inflation processes.

摘要： It is crucial and challenging for the question-answering robot (Qabot) to match the customer-input questions with the priori identification questions due to highly diversified expressions, especially in the case of Chinese. This article proposes a coordinated scheme to analyze the similarity between sentences in two independent domains instead of a single deep learning model. In the structure domain, the BLEU and data preprocessing are applied for binary analysis to discriminate the unpredictable outliers (illegal questions) to existing library. In the semantics domain, the MC-BERT model, which integrates the BERT encoder and the Multi-kernel convolutional top classifier, is developed to handle the non-orthogonality of class identification questions. The two-domain analyses are in parallel and the two similarity scores are coordinated for the final response. The linguistic features of Chinese are also taken into account. A realistic case of Qabot on energy trading service and finance is numerically studied. Computational results validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed algorithm: Top-1 and Top-3 accuracies are 90.5% and 95.5%, respectively, which are significantly superior to the latest published results.

摘要： We provide a new method to compute the Balmer spectra of the bounded derived category and the singularity category of the category algebra of a finite EI category by a decomposition trick due to Stevenson. In particular, we reobtain the result on the singularity category given by Wang under a weaker condition.
